It runs way better than I expected. It’s been stable and loads fast too. My only issue was probably just bad timing on my part, because I started using it right when I was already rushed and impatient.

"Fun extras, but the prices and waiting get annoying"
I do enjoy the added worlds and extra content, but buying multiple expansion packs gets expensive really fast. Some of them feel totally worth it, while others are kind of underwhelming for the price. I also get frustrated waiting for a decent sale because paying full price just doesn’t always feel justified. They’re fun, but I’d definitely recommend grabbing them only when they’re discounted.

I use the account login regularly, and lately it’s been working fine for me. I did run into one random issue not too long ago, but since then it’s been smooth most days.

"Fun for a while, but kinda shallow 🙂"
There’s definitely a lot to do, and I had fun with it at first! But after a while, the gameplay started to feel a bit repetitive and not super deep 😅

"Great community, but kind of overwhelming too"
I’ve found a lot of really cool custom content here, and the community is super helpful whenever I have questions. That said, it can also feel a little messy and overwhelming sometimes with so much stuff to sort through. Still, I keep coming back because people are friendly and there’s always something interesting to discover.

"Billing was a bit of a hassle"
I still really like The Sims 3, and the site itself works fine for the most part. But the payment part was... kind of annoying. My card got charged, but the item didn’t show up right away, so I had to wait around and then contact support. They did fix it eventually, which I appreciate. Just wish the whole thing had gone a little smoother.

"Support got back to me crazy fast"
I had a problem with my account and expected to be waiting forever, but support got back to me way quicker than I thought. It took one extra message to fully sort everything out, but in the end it was totally fine and painless.

"I did manage to get the game downloaded..."
I did manage to get the game downloaded eventually, but it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. The site felt kind of slow, and the installer took way longer than I thought it would. At one point it looked like it was stuck, so I had to restart it and try again. After that, though, it installed fine and the game ran without any issues. So it wasn’t a total disaster, just more frustrating than it needed to be. by the time it finally worked, I was relieved more than excited.

"Nice deals if you wait a little"
I picked up a few Sims 3 packs for less than I expected, which was a nice surprise. The discounts seem to pop up regularly, so I usually just keep an eye on them and wait instead of buying right away. Saved a few bucks that way, and even the smaller price drops add up

"Still fun, just buggy"
I still have a soft spot for Sims 3 and I do use the site, but man, it can be a pain sometimes. My downloads don’t always show up, the launcher freezes on me, and the store pages take forever to load. It’s not totally broken, it’s just frustrating when I only have a little time and want to jump in and play. I really wish it ran smoother.

"Easy to find what I needed"
I have used thesims3.com a few times, it is simple to move around on. The menus are clear enough, and I can usually get to the store, the exchange, or my account without feeling like I am clicking around forever.
The pages load fine for me, and the layout is easy to follow, even though it does look a little dated now. It still does what I need it to do, and I do not really get lost while using it.
